share evolution mail with 2 unix users

Hi,
I've two differents unix users account and I would like to share evolution mail with both users (I mean 2 users can access to the same mail box).

The Evolution message store, may not be suitable for multi-user access. You could have it work for one user at a time provided you set it proper file and directory permissions allowing both users and configuring Evolution to use that same path for it's store. But, you may corrupt the message store if you attemp to access it concurrently by boths accounts simmulatenously.

BTW there are several other options you may consider :

- Have email stored server side and access it using the IMAP protocol if your email provider allow this.

- Have email stored locally in a Maildir. You will have to fetch the mails from the POP3 account with fetchmail to deliver it inside a Maildir folder. Then configure Evolution for access to that Maildir. Do'nt forget to set proper permission for read, write and Xecute entering directory to boths users.
