how to clear />application>/ other TAB

I was using "wine " to install an .EXE file but it told me thet unable to do it.
OK
I have removed the files from my desktop / I was installing from there /
BUT
I found part of the program in "other' tab
an other word : when I go to "others' I get the bumped program part.

I want to clear 'other" tab

Hi,

From your question, I believe you are referring to an issue where an category called "Other" is appearing in the Gnome Main Menubar under "Applications".

To hide this category, you need to:
1) Right click on the Main Menubar and select "Edit Menus".
2) In the "Items" list uncheck the "Other" category - it should now appear in italics.
3) Press Close.

The "Other" category should now be hidden.
