when i delete mail from imap server it deleted from evolution too

I configure evolution for my i map server. when any user delete their mail by directly logine to thier e-mail account wihtout using evolution then that mail deleted in evolution when he use evolution for chacking mails afterwords. i dont want to be happen like this. so please help to resolve this problem.

Actually as far as I know you can't do this.
This is actually how IMAP servers are supposed to work.

ie the emails are all stored at the server (not locally on a computer)
and you can view them either through a web interface or through a client like a evolution.

But since it is the same storage if you delete an email it is not accessible by
any client any more

although you could use message filters to move or copy each message that arrives in the imap inbox into a folder on your computer...

Ran into the same issue and suggest taking advantage of this "feature" by modifying your process:

1. First delete messages you don't want to ever see again.
2. Then move the messages you want to "delete" to a local or server web store.
