in the menu: Edit -> Preferences simply click the +Add Button and here you are.

Thank you. It seems strange because Im used to Outlook 2003 on Windows.

I'm very new to Linux complete beginner, I am an Outlook user, sending receiveng emails via this software(EVOLUTION) what do you type as an address for pop and smtp servers I use hotmail.
with windows you just put hotmail.com but with Evolution this will not work it won't fetch/send my emails can anyone help?
Also why does'nt desktopsecure function when it's downloaded from add/remove programs tool it's asking to be activated with the username and password sent via email, as soon as you enter this info you get error, mystified, it says it's a trial version, I've tried installing the other freeware version but the command line given with the instructions does'nt seem to unpack the pavcl file just says no such file but the file is on my desktop, again can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on Thanks

Trevor, as far as I know with hotmail you have to pay extra for POP/SMTP access. The best advice that I can give on that front would be to try out Google Mail(gmail) at www.gmail.com and you can refer to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UsingGmailWithEvolution
