Hello

First try to reinstall Evolution without loosing your previous settings.

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get --reinstall install evolution evolution-common evolution-data-server evolution-data-server-common

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.
