Filtering Email

Asked by Devinator

How do I bounce incoming email against my address book? I want emails that are from senders that are not in my address book to go to a particular folder, so that I can make sure to either delete them as spam or put them into my address book.

thanks!

Thanks. This is good information, but it doesn't help solve my problem. While you can have the incoming messages filtered by manually entering a recipient email address for all of your email addresses, you still can't filter on 'sender' by bouncing incoming emails against your address book. Can you please provide help with that?

thanks!

So, What you are asking is to bounce incoming email against the address book.. I m sorry that evolution doesnt have that feature.. you can try kmail which has a bounce filter.. More info:
