POP Before SMTP error ("authentication attempted with a CamelSmtpTransport service")
My mail server (skynet.be) is configured to accept POP Before SMTP for authentication when sending mail.
When I send a mail with Evolution 3.6.0 I get this error message and my mail didn't send:
The reported error was "POP Before SMTP authentication attempted with a CamelSmtpTransport service".
My provider test my SMTP connection with "Outlook" (If I understand, with a simulator from there centre) but they don't know Evolution and don't know what to do.
Thanks,
Fabrice
P.S. : Sorry for my English, I'm French speaker.

At first the STMP server for skynet is: relay.skynet.be. Check if it is set correctly.
Also, configure the authentication for SMTP directly, not POP before SMTP.
To do so, activate the checkbox below the server address on the 4th tab of the settings dialog for the account, then enter you username on the bottom. It is same as for incoming mails.
