Asked by Leon Arundell on 2012-08-26

Two days ago I upgraded from Ubuntu 10 to Precise Pangolin.

I have disabled the @leon email account that was created in the upgrade.

When I send an email using Evolution, I get the message:

>Your message was sent, but an error occurred during post-processing.

> "Failed to append to mbox:///home/leon/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent: Invalid folder
> URI 'mbox:///home/leon/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent'
> Appending to local 'Sent' folder instead.".

I have uninstalled Thunderbird, but I still get the message.

When I enter "ls -la /home/leon/.local/share/evolution/mail; lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy evolution" I get the following output:

Try this oen Evolution

From the menu select

Edit>Preferences>MailAccounts

Next select your mail account and select 'Edit' on the 'Defaults' tab check that the following is set

Drafts Folder: "On This Computer/Drafts"
Sent Folder: "On This Computer/Sent"

Thanks, Warren. You're a gem!
