The Contact List is extremely difficult to use for forwarding and the wide page format is very challenging to use.

I have become used to the email contact list in Thunderbird. The method of operation requires many fewer keystrokes than I have been forced to use in Evolution. I still have not been able to import all of my email addresses into Evolution from Thunderbird.

I have been impressed with the comments about Evolution being very easy to use and able to do almost all things needed for email communication and to also provide an easy to use appointment book.

I find the operation of Thunderbird to be much more intuitive and logical

My question is: Is there a way to introduce the ease of use of Thunderbird into Evolution? I avoided Evolution because when I might have first used it, I had already avoided Microsoft and its requirement for excessive mouse clicks. I find ease of use to be the number one requirement for any application. I have never seen any application where adding mouse clicks eases the use of the application.

So gentlemen, my question, or problem, or suggestion is to make Evolution as easy to use as Thunderbird.

I realize that security may pose some problems in moving email addresses between email applications. I really doubt that sending myself an email with all of my contacts copied, and then sending them each a blank message is one way to do this. There must surely be a more secure method than this to move the email addresses between applications.

Is there a solution, or am I asking for something that will not appear in Evolution?

Thanks for the response.

I shall consider my suggestion taken and as there is obviously no immediate solution, I shall switch Back to Thunderbird as my soslution.
