Evolution mail programme. How do I export the address book and the mail files to a new computer?

If you will be using evolution on new computer as well, you can simply use backup everything with....

File => Backup Setting...

This will backup everything - mail, contacts, calendar, etc. - to a compressed tarball. You can then restore from evolution on new computer with...

File +. Restore Settings...

If you are trying to migrate the address book and mail to a different email client on another machine, it is not simple.

Problem solved Thank you so much for your help. Actually, after some thinking, I chose the same solution - too complicated to mirate to another programme.
