Looking for a super Noob / up-to-date advice on how to be able to open Winmail.dat files in Evolution - Thanks in advance!!

Hey Ubuntu community - I am a super-noob to ubuntu and am having a difficult time trying to install a plug-in that will allow me to open attachments that come in Winmail.dat format. There is varying advice dating back for years in various forums and I have yet to find something that works or that I can decipher. I'd be grateful to get a step-by-step guide on how to do this! Thanks!
