Evolution Calendar Not Updating Correctly

Asked by Neal Gamradt

In Evolution 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10, I am connecting to our corporate Exchange 2003 servers via the older OWA connector. The calendar doesn't load until I go into the properties and uncheck "Copy calendar contents locally for offline use". Once I uncheck that, log out of my session, log back in and start up Evolution, then the calendar will load correctly. However, it will not refresh with updated content throughout the day.

It appears that I can accept meeting invites and all, without issue, and those new entries do show up on our OWA site, but not in Evolution. Also, connecting to the "Time & Date" application by checking "Coming events from Evolution Calendar" seems to make things worse.

I love the speed improvements for e-mail, but is anyone else having these issues with the calendar?

This is still a big issue for me, my Exchange calendar loads completely at random. Sometimes it will load just fine, then the next time nothing happens, it just hangs as though there is nothing to load. Notification alarms also don't load for meetings.

Is anyone else having these issues, is there a good way to debug Evolution?

Can you help with this problem?
