On Oneiric Evolution upgrade, migrating mail process hangs

Asked by Phil Dobber

After upgrading to Oneiric, I wanted to check my mail. I started Evolution, and it wanted to migrate my mail.
I said OK.
It has been running 15 minutes, but its not on my Desktop though the Icon has an arrow next to it saying it is active.

The evolution process has detached (owned by init)
The only process I can see it `top` of any significance is kworker, but in any case free CPU is 99% so it should have plenty available for migration

I know I should have backed up my e-mail (!) but can anyone advise the safest thing to do at this point? I'd rather not kill if my mail data file is open for read/write.

Regards,
Phil

After system restart everything seems to work.
The client started properly.
All mail was visible.

I don't know whether the migration was successful or not.

Please lower the priority on this one.

Thanks,
Phil
