Need new location of emails saved to computer with evolution.

Background:
After upgrading to [11.10] and reinstalling gnome: Nautilus, Brasero, and other programs kept crashing. By which I mean that they would stop running and not restart without logging off and back on first. I backed up my home directories and installed [10.04].
Problem:
I had let evolution update itself (to a new format, I think it said) before backgrading.
Symptom:
My backed up ~/.evolution/ directory no longer contains my saved emails.

Can someone tell me where they have been moved to?
