My Evolution will not recognise the server password for incoming messages

I have set up Evolution for email. Everything works fine, I can send messages but when I I try to receive messages I am asked for the Service Provider password (O2) which Evolution tells me is incorrect. O2 have confirmed the password.

I have tried the Forget Password option but that didn't help

Problem solved by using the full e-mail address for user I/D
