evolution mail error while fetching mail send and receive

it has never worked have to go the long way around getting tired of it now I have new e-mail address and passwords would like to get it to work is there a way to reset the whole thing and start over? are there detailed instructions so I can get it right this time.the first time I set it up, some of the questions I had no clue on what there asking, this is my first computer and I dont know much but I am luring.
