Evolution setting for downloading mail not found

Used Eudora for years and years... quit using Windows... Eudora no work in Ubuntu... Switched to K-Mail... cannot embed images in e-mails, older versions not supported because "new version is coming out"... so program freezes constantly, does weird things... want to get rid of it!

Looking at Evolution, and can find NO SETTING that will let me leave the messages on the server... I'm not going to try Evolution and have it take all my messages off the server, as if I don't like Evolution, then my messages are locked up inside Evolution!!

Should there not be an easily-found lil' box to check that says "Leave messages on server"?????????
