setting up email address with evolution

i have an account with msn. i was able to set up the receiving part of the settings. meaning i get my emails but i canot send them. i need the right server what is it for msn/hotmail. i have try smtp.live.com and smtp.msn.com. neither work. also i use the TLS option as i read online but its still not workin.

Try the setting below:

Server Name: smtp.live.com
Port: 587
Enc: SSL/TLS

didnt work. it says that it needs more time. where do i find the port so i can write the number.

Server: smtp.live.com:587
check the box "Server requires authentication"
select "TLS" in "Use secure connection"
in "Authentification" > "Type", select "PLAIN"
in "Username" type your email address !
