Evolution Email "Send/Receive" is greyed out.

I cannot receive or send email. Everything has worked well for month and now this occurs. Nothing has changed other than accepting Ubuntu updates. Any suggestions?

Be sure that you're not working "Offline". Under the 'File' menu.

Wonder what would have cause it to go off line? ANyhow, that was the issue, thanks for the suggestion.

My thought was Evolution didn't detect a net connectivity when you opened your Evolution mail, that reason it went to offline mode.
