deletes email on delivery

Hi I am a new user of Evolution. every time I receive an email it shows in the inbox and within a few seconds it is deleted and I cant find it in any of the folders. I have tried changing my settings but cant solve this problem. Can anyone please help? I am no computer expert so please keep it simple.

Evolution is badly supported in this forum (personally I use Thunderbird after some issues with evolution). You could request help at ubuntuforums.org .

Hi all, Problem resolved got rid of evolution and installed Thunderbird. No problem now.

BabyGeek. , Have about 250gb, so that was not the problem.
