Contacts not displayed in contacts window

Just upgraded to UBUNTU 11.04.

When I click on the CONTACTS button in Evolution Mail, I get the message "There are no items to show in this view."

The contacts are still clearly there as I get a list when I click the "To" button when sending emails, however they don't display in the contacts window and hence I can't edit them.

Any advice would be appreciated.
