Cannot dowload my mail in Evolution to the main inbox carpet

Evolution states that there is an error in my main carpet and I cannot download mail from my server.
The other carpets for filters are functioning.
The error warning states that the inbox carpet is not valid, that there is another entry with the same name. I do not find any duplicate carpets.

Sorry, I was using the Spanish terms, my evolution is in Spanish.

Carpet is folder.
The error messages states:

"Error while opening folder "mbox:/home/amadeus/.evolution/mail/local#inbox"

column folder _ name is not unique

Is that enough information now?

That was much better information.

However, your problem seems to be a corrupt mbox database file. So here's what I suggest:

First make sure Evolution is not open.

1. Open a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal), then copy and paste the following commands.
2. cd .evolution/mail/local
3. mv folders.db folders.db.orig
4. Open evolution

That should eliminate the error and recreate a new folders.db

If you have any errors or problems with those steps please copy and paste the entire detail from the terminal back here so I can review.
