All my email goes straight to my deleted box and i've got to send/recieve everytime its not automatic

all email goes straight to my deleted box and i've got to send/receive each time i want to get my emails.
Should i just delete the account and start again cos i'm getting very frustrated now. i've had this problem for weeks.

Normally this is a problem with filters. I've heard that if the email attempts to go to a non-existant folder it would go to trash for example.

I would suggest to troubleshoot there. You could start by removing all of them to see if that resolves the issue, then working through them specifically. If not, a quick restore and your back in business.
