evolution won't connect to ms exchange server.. need update

When i try to connect evolution to my ms exchange server, it gives me an error message saying that the server uses exchange 5.5 but evolution only uses 2000 and 2003. I need to find a way to make it work rather than using a different email client. Is there an update or patch to fix this problem?

You can use IMAP or POP to get access. I suggest you use a more open mailserver which allows a greater range of clients.
