How do I specify where incoming email will be delivered?

Asked by Eric M. Smith

I have 6 separate email accounts setup in Evolution and expected the emails to be delivered to my inbox for processing by my message filters; however, all of my incoming emails are delivered to one of the local folders I created to help me organize my email.

All of the accounts were set up using the wizard.

I created the local folders when I initially imported all of my email from Thunderbird into my inbox and created each local folder as I created the message filter based on the imported messages.

So now that I have everything configured on my filters, how do I specify where the incoming email should be delivered so they can work?

Filters should run by default when new incoming mail is received. If you want to run the filters on all the mails you imported in, for example, the default Inbox, select all of them (CTRL+A) and from the menu bar select Messages - Apply Filters (I think the shortcut is CTRL+Y).

Can you help with this problem?
