several items of mail falling into the Junk folder which are not junk.

Asked by Norman Silverstone

I have used Evolution for many years and rarely if ever have items of mail been placed in the Junk folder. However, recently many items of mail have appeared in the Junk folder. For example, today 47 items out of a total of 95 have appeared in the Junk folder none of which is junk mail. How do I trouble shoot this problem?

Spam classification is a difficult machine learning problem -- its only going to get it right *some* of the time -- there will be false positives and false negatives.

You have two options
1) Disable it entirely:
http://library.gnome.org/users/evolution/stable/config-prefs-mail.html.en

2) Create rules to whitelist or blacklist certain domains or users:
http://library.gnome.org/users/evolution/stable/usage-mail-organize-filters.html.en

Can you help with this problem?
