Password for Evolution Mail

Upgraded to Ubuntu 9.0 and now unable to access my evolution email using the correct password previously used on the older version 8.4 - Tried variations of passwords but to no avail. How can I resume access to my email? Is there a way to reset a new password? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks:

Check your email settings are still correct. Evolution has a problem where it will sometimes report "password failure", even though it is a different communication error.

Please advise how to access EMAIL SETTINGS . Would like to check them and possibly change password! Thanks: Dick

To start evolution:

From the panel, click 'Application -> Office -> Evolution'
(there are other approaches but this will work)

Once it's open from the Menu, click 'Edit -> Preferences'
Click on 'Mail Accounts' then select the appropriate account, then click 'Edit'.

Review all information on all the tabs for accuracy.

You may also want to 'Delete' the account and recreate it or uncheck 'save password' to try to manually enter it.
