evolution configuration problem

Asked by Paul Bigwood

Newbie, Installed Unbuntu 5.1 and works OK. Configured Evolution email with wrong ip address of my local email server. Cant find out where to change it. according to evolution website Tools => Configuration => should take you to user settings to change servers, but my version does not have a Tools option on the menu?

I'm obviously in the wrong evolution, but cant find where to change the Ip address.

Where does evolution store its configuration file? I've tried to find them but cant locate

Any help much appreciated

Paul

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the reply.

I really really like ubuntu. Installed on a 400MHz Dell Inspirion 3500
laptop with PCMCA network with no problems.

Typed this all once before and lost it.

How do I get Evolution to show up in Applications > Office> menu?

Ubuntu help files state it should but it doesn't on my Ubuntu V7.04.

Upon typing 'evolution' in a terminal window it works.

Why is Linux so hard to use??

Thanks
