New to Ubuntu and Evolution got my main email account up and running but wanted to add a hotmail.co.uk account as well if this is possible what settings do I need to use for sending /receiving

Whether you can add an email account in evolution depends on whether the email service provider allows pop access or not. Long ago when I used hotmail, most email clients were able to automatically configure settings for hotmail accounts. I guess hotmail still provides pop access. So just try adding the account details in evolution. If you face any problem, check the support site of hotmail.co.uk to find any specific settings like a different port that may be required to be set, etc.
