Why evolution 2.30.3 in maverick and not evolution 2.32

Asked by tmstaedt

I just checked the packages for evolution and was surprised that it's 2.30, not the latest 2.32. I ask, because a bug fix, which
I would consider important, did not make it into the 2.30 development tree:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=628522
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=170480

I applied this particular bug to my private version 2.28 and the crashes when searching in calendar disappeared making the
application nicely stable and usable to me.

Regards,
thomas

Log a bug and state the bugs the new version fixes.

you can certainly download the new version yourself manually and install it.

Can you help with this problem?
