Change aspect of message list in Evolution 2.30

I have Evolution 2.30 with ubuntu 10.10.

The message list with alternate white/gray lines is confusing for me. For example if a message is selected in the message list window and the focus is on another window (say the lateral bar or the message preview) it is not clear which message is selected. Is there a way to change this?

I don't think you can change it.
You could fill a bug request though, the way the selected email is displayed is clearly not perfect.

Can you help with this problem?
