Upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10: Evolution Tasks and Memos unavailable

After upgrading to 10.10, every time I try to access Tasks, or Calendar/Memos in Evolution, an error message pops up. It says: "Evolution tasks have quit unexpectedly. Your tasks will not be available until Evolution is restarted." Similarly for Memos.
I've rebooted and picked up all the latest updates. No joy.
Any ideas how to make Evolution work?
