Calendar sync with Google

Asked by thgizmo

I had been running Ububtu 9.10 and there was an option under "new calendar" for Google. It worked fine for me and synced both ways. I did a clean install (not an upgrade) of 10.10 and there is no Google calendar option. There is only "On this Computer, On the Web, Caldev and Weather" I tried connecting to my Google calendar via the "On the Web" option but am unable to make it work. I believe I have all the correct inputs, but still won't work. I noticed in one of the older questions about Google calendar sync it was mentioned to make sure all the entrys in ical were correct. Was the option to remove Google calendar intentional? or do I need some additional add-ons? OR???

This didn't work for me: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+question/124525

Working now, had to add Google in contacts. Then restart Evolution, then I could add Google in calendar... :)
