I need to open win.dat files in Evolution

I receive email attachments that appear as Win.Dat files and when I try t open them the message is there is no application to open it.

The sender has a badly configured mailserver / outlook. Not sure how to open them

The pages below suggest that winmail.dat is just formatting information for Outlook. So long as you can read the e-mail, you're getting the important information, just not the font sizes, colours, etc.
