can't read winmail.dat attachment in evolution

I can not find any application that work with evolution that will allow me to read winmail.dat attachments in my email.

The pages below suggest that winmail.dat is just formatting information for Outlook; so long as you can read the e-mail, you're getting the important information, just not the font sizes, colours, etc.
