unable to receive e.mails

When I try to retrieve my e.mails I get the following message:
Error while Fetching Mail.

Unable to connect to POP server popper.forthnet.gr: No support for requested authentication mechanism.

I can send e.mails with no problem but cannot receive them. Please can you help me with this problem?

You need to complete the mail settings in Evolution Mail.
Sadly, Forthnet does not provide full instructions for Evolution Mail yet,

Therefore, you will need to use as a guide the information at

A common error is with the username; the instructions mention "user.pop.forthnet.gr", and then they say that you need to change "user" to your actual username, and also "pop" with the name of the point of presense ("ath" for Athens, etc). Verify you have all these details correct.
