I,can't open certain files like program files,i cannot download programs or plugins and install them over there. For all these actions a notice pops out that i don't have the rights to that,or i'm not authorised, although i set my user's profile as an administrator

dimitris,

Is the user you set to "administrator" the user you did the install with, e.g. the sudo user ?

How did you "set the user's profile to administrator" ?

To install apps, and do updates you need to be a sudo user and that user needs to be in the sudo user group. If the user your saying is an authorized 'administrator" is not in the sudo group, you wont be able to update and add programs.

To add the user to the sudo user group, in a terminal type the following (Note, a sudo user must also do this):

sudo usermod -a -G admin username where username is the name you wish to add to the sudo group.

The you should be able to use that user to do updates and add / remove programs.

You should use the password that you set for your account when you installed Ubuntu when you are asked for your password.

Can you help with this problem?
