evolution icon missing

I don't have an envelope icon at top or anywhere and I don't have evolution in the drop down menu in applications, internet or any other. Just cannot find it. I only have the files in folder.Yes, It is installed. The only way I opened it was to command it at startup. But my computer is rarely turned off, but programs get accidentally closed.

Hi Paula, Right click above Applications Menu go to Edit Menus. A window will show, click New Item and fill the blanks. In the command put the application name.
