I like the inline reply and forward, but why is the signature placed below all that where no one will ever find it. The signature should be above the commented reply.

I would use the attachment version, but you include all the address info which would scare most users off..

Simple, put the signature block above the replied message (and forwarded message!).

I have switched from Outlook to Evolution and like it a lot.

The setting was hard for me to find as well.

If you have gutsy, the placement setting is now found by:

1. open edit->preferences
2. go to composer preferences
3. it is the option called 'top posting option', about in the middle of this dialog.

I don't know why it says unrecommended, but this is the only way that a signature is usable (for me.).
