No Trash or Delete Icon on "send/Recieve" line

Asked by Thomas Killeen

In the evolution version with Ubuntu 9.4 there was Trash or Delete Icon on the "send/recieve" button line. It seems to have disappeared in evolution that came with Ubuntu 9.10. I can use ctrl. "D" but the trash icon was much neater, quicker and easier to understand. I love Linux but this is one small step back in usablility.

Any way to restore my lost trash Icon?????

Thanks Tom Killeen

This is interesting. I'm not in charge of Evolution or anything, just so you know, but am a user who has also upgraded. I don't see a button for "delete" either, but there IS a trash can icon on mine, two icons to the right of "forward". When the mouse is on it, the message says 'Mark the selected messages for deletion'. Do you have this, and is it what you are looking for?

Take Thunderbird. It's much better than evolution.

They should replace the "Do Not Enter" "Do Not Do" traffic symbol with a TRASH can icon/symbol. Proble resolved, Thanks, Tom.
