Space in user name

Hi, I have installed evolution-mapi 3.2.0-0ubuntu1 from the ubuntu 11.10 repo.

When trying to setup a new account I get Authentaication error and I was wondering whether its because my username has a space in it and maybe its not able to handle it. Do you know if this maybe the case?
