how to update evince

I would like to update my evince to the latest version, but I don't know how to that. My evince version in 9.04 Jaunty is 2.26.1. How can I update the version to the latest one (2.29).
Thank you for any information in regard this matter.

Thanks, it works in Jaunty. Now I can use evince (new cairo and poppler) and renders correctly svg created from Inkscape. One more think.. How can I update for 8.04 hardy, since there is no option for 8.04). My laptop still running 8.04 Hardy. I need to update the pdf viewer evince for proper rendering pdf with svg.
