print japanese in a pdf

When I open a pdf file with Evince 0.5.2, all characters (Japanese and alphabets) are displayed properly. But when I print the file,
all characters are not correctly printed. The pictures in the file are printed ok.

Do you use a PDF printer ? a PS printer ?

I am using a Brother ink jet printer MFC210C.

I created a small document with Japanese characters in OpenOffice Word and saved it as Pdf. Then opend it with Evince and printed it.
Japanese were printed ok. It seems the printing problem is limited to print Japanese pdf file created by Acrobat Reader (Japanese).
