I think that there is some missing fonts, here is how to install microsoft fonts :
1- install this packages : msttcorefonts and gsfonts-x11
then execute this command : sudo fc-cache -f -v

Thanks, RachedTN

Thanks for your reply.

I already had msttcorefonts and gsfonts-x11 packages installed. I also run 'sudo fc-cache -f -v' but nothing changed.

Any other suggestion, please?
Thanks for your time.

You can also install adobe acrobat reader on ubuntu using the medibuntu depots or PPA and also you can download Adobe reader for Linux : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=unix
Before doing that : which verion of ubuntu do you have and did you try xpdf (or kpdf if you are using kubuntu) ?

I already had Adobe Acrobat Reader installed: that's why I was able to say it red perfectly with it.

The problem I'd like to have it working on other PDF reader software...

No suggestion to make it work on evira?
