I hope that you are using Document Viewer rather than the bloated Adobe Reader for looking at pdf files.

There is an "up" and "down" arrow on your toolbar to enable you to see page two or three, etc.

All the files are there.

Thank you for the hint but I knew the file was to small 92.1KB the windows one is 1,073KB, but I tried your suggestion and has only two pages. I have another hard disk with Windows where i had download the same file, i open it on Document Viewer and surprise it read it and then save it in Ubuntu.
I still like to know why in Ubuntu only two pages against Windows complete and again thank you for the hint

Please tell:
- the release of Ubuntu that are you using
- the Openoffice.org dowloaded pdf link.

Thank you

Please also be sure your system is fully upgraded, to check:
open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get --fix-missing install
sudo apt-get clean all
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean all
sudo apt-get autoremove

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Hope this helps

This seems to be an error in downloading, Luis.

Downloads are managed via Firefox and not Open Office.

By default, downloads are downloaded to your desktop. You can specify another destination in Firefox by going to Edit and then Preferences.

As to reasons why you only got two files, there are too many to mention them all - it could be nothing more than a temporary server error. Try that download again.

If that answers your question, would you please mark this thread as "Solved".

I have no issue viewing pdf with Evince.

Open:

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Special:Collection/render_article/?arttitle=Documentation/BASIC_Guide&writer=rl

Choose to use default "Document viewer" Evince

Go to Evince menu->View->Continuos

Hope this helps
