Ok.. These links can help you out if you have no sound:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=205449

Note: There is no such thing as driver installation for sound cards in ubuntu Many of the sound cards are well supported and sound should work...

sorry your still having trouble

you need to boot the system with the card inplace so that the cd loader can detect the hardware

if you have done this go to your system>administration>services and enable the alsa box

does that do the trick?

peace =]

Can you help with this problem?
