Wanted Feature: Retore last opened file

Asked by Akronix on 2014-09-30

I am using evince 3.10.3 under ubuntu 14.04 64 bits, and I ignore if this feature has been already implemented in newer versions.

I am asking for a feature to restore the last opened file, as on firefox when you press cntrl+shift+T. I find often I want to open the last file I was looking at in a quick way.

You should send your suggestions to the Gnome team responsible for developing Envince.
See the website at https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Evince .

The Ubuntu team mainly packages and maintaince the version distributed with Ubuntu on the basis of what the Gnome team develops.

Does the dash not show rhe last opened file by default. ?..?

#2: true, I'll do that.
But still I think evince should provide this. Not everybody is using unity out there.
