left/right arrows to switch between PDF files

Dear maintainers,
I'm used to take a look at a lot of PDF files that are sorted in directories. It's easy to view pages, but I have to close evince and open it again to see other files.
Do you think it would be a good idea to add some "left" and "right" buttons that allow the user to quickly switch between alphabetically sorted PDF files in a given directory?
I already thought about merging all my files in a single one, but it is really a mess to find my way in the big file.
