pdf download problems

Asked by Joe Beall

I'm running Natty on my Dell Inspiron 580. When I go to download multiple pdf files from a website only the first one downloads properly; the others simply show an ALL-BLACK page. I have to log-off the website, shut down Firefox, restart Firefox and re-log into the website and then select the next pdf I want to download. These are bank account statements so it's only really an issue once a month but it hasn't always been like this, only for the past couple of months.

Hello,

This could because you do not have the correct fonts installed to read the PDF file.

Regards,

Allan :)

it sounds like it is a problem at the bank's end.
my bank changes its site often and there are always problems.
you should call the bank's call center and tell them what the problem is and have them look at it.

Thanks to ahambidge and marcus aureliius for your input. I have figured out a workaround solution: I save the "blacked-out" pdf to my desktop and then open it from there and I can view/print it just fine. A bit of a PITA, though. Maybe next month things will work as they're supposed to!!
