where is the evince cache?

Hi! recently, for mistake, I select the open in evince button from my web browser and the file was open but not stored. Can I recover it? where is the cahé of evince?

Typically files that are "opened" rather than "saved" are saved in the /tmp folder. Files in this folder that are not being used are subject to periodic deletion, but you may still be able to find the file there. Otherwise, you should be able to go through your browser's history (usually Ctrl+H) to figure out where you downloaded the file.

If that is not sufficient to solve your problem, then please provide details, including what browser you're using, and any information on the file and where you found it that you're able to provide.
